Touted as the true story of comedian Richard Gadd’s alleged experience with an obsessed stalker who sent over 41,000 emails and hundreds of voice messages, Gadd initially attempted to obscure the true identities of the people involved by using pseudonyms.
It never investigated whether Harvey was convicted, a very serious misrepresentation of the facts. It did nothing to understand the relationship between Gadd and Harvey, if any. It did nothing to determine whether other facts, including an assault, the alleged stalking or the conviction was accurate.
