Orchard Park, N.Y. — The Bills have their mandatory minicamp this week, and there's a new focus for Josh Allen while he gets used to his new group of targets."It's just like changing your swing in golf," he said."I wouldn't call it a complete overhaul of my throwing motion, but definitely some things to work on and clean up," he explained.
While it's been a progression, the 28-year-old said he's been looking back at some old film — dating back to his high school days and his time at the University of Wyoming. "It looks like a different guy," Allen said. "Sometimes, it'll pop up when I click on YouTube — I'll see a video, and I'm like 'Who's that throwing the ball?' and it's me. It's kind of gross to look at sometimes, but I don't think it's as gross anymore."
So far this spring, the offense hasn't looked quite as sharp as we all expected, but Allen said he's working on building chemistry with his new squad — along with sharpening his throwing mechanics — to help take his team to the next step.
