Beyond driving internal efficiencies, respondents are looking to AI to enhance the personalization of customer experiences, where AI-driven insights can lead to more tailored and effective customer interactions. Similarly, 44% of respondents believe AI will improve the use of customer data for decision-making, enabling more informed and strategic business choices.

Many businesses grapple with poorly integrated systems, rising cloud costs, and the expense of maintaining data centers. These factors create a perfect storm of wasted resources and excessive spending that CIOs must address.These results show IT leadership at a pivotal juncture. The rise of AI brings unprecedented prospects across industries, yet the emphasis on risk management is often a barrier to innovation.

This has 85% of surveyed IT leaders re-examining their organization’s infrastructure mix due to rising cloud costs. The combination of increasing cloud service expenses and energy costs is driving organizations to reconsider their infrastructure strategies.
