Neil Newbon, the actor behind Baldur's Gate 3 character Astarion, was left on read for years by Fallout London developers.
Neil Newbon, the voice behind Baldur’s Gate 3 character Astarion, made a surprise appearance as Barry the Boat in the popular fan mod Fallout: London. While the actor’s presence was a great addition for fans, Newbon had waited almost two years to get a response from the mod’s developers. Fallout almost didn’t meet Baldur’s Gate 3 After revealing his deep friendship with the entire Baldur’s Gate 3 cast, Newbon discussed his long wait to join Fallout: London in an interview with GinxTV.
However, after the massive success of Larian Studios’ D&D RPG, they finally got noticed. “They missed my message, for about that year and a half. Apparently one of the guys said , ‘Oh I got this message from him ages on Twitter, but I don’t know who this guy is.'” The actor held no bad will against the team for the years of waiting, and loved the passion of the development team.
