Man City striker Erling Haaland is among the leading contenders for the 2023 Ballon d'Or and here is everything you need to know about the prestigious award this year
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland will go head-to-head with the likes of Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe for this year's Ballon d'Or award.
With Messi and Mbappe both enjoying success in France with PSG too, Haaland has his work cut out for the award that was last year claimed by non other than Karim Benzema whilst with Real Madrid. It will take place at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris and is set to be hosted by former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. Haaland is the second favourite and is priced at 13/2, whilst Real Madrid and England superstar Jude Bellingham had been handed odds of 20/1 to scoop his first prize in France.
