Dry weather and sunny spells are also likely despite chilly overnight temperatures.
Forecasters said temperatures as low as -1C and -2C could be felt overnight over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Met Office meteorologist Alex Deakin said:"Night frosts are possible, but at the moment the long weekend looks largely dry, and there will be sunny spells for many as well.It comes after all four UK nations recordedThe Met Office reported highs of 25C in England, 23.6C in Scotland, 23.5C in Wales, and 21.4C in Northern Ireland.
Last year's early spring Bank Holiday was a record-breaker as Northolt, Greater London, recorded a maximum temperature of 28.7C .
