The artwork, which appeared on Sunday and was confirmed by the anonymous artist as one of his works on Monday, has been splashed with white paint just two days on.
The Banksy mural has been defaced with white paint The latest Banksy artwork to appear in London has been defaced just days later. The urban tree artwork – visited by Jeremy Corbyn among others – was painted on the side of a residential building in Hornsey Road in Finsbury Park, north London. The artwork depicts green leaves painted on the wall behind a pruned tree, with a stencil of a person and what appears to be a paint sprayer.
Nobody knows who Banksy is, but his works have appeared across the country, with a number of others located in London.
