Barack and Michelle Obama have endorsed Kamala Harris for president, saying in a spot released by her campaign early Friday that they “couldn’t be prouder” to help propel her to victory.
“I can’t have this phone call without saying to my girl Kamala: I am proud of you,” Michelle says. “This is going to be historic.” In a follow-up post to his announcement letter, Biden praised Harris and urged Democrats to unite behind her. Harris announced her candidacy shortly after.
