Barbara Windsor receives kiss on the cheek from Boris Johnson as she delivers petition for dementia care funding to Downing Street
Barbara Windsor, 82, made a rare public appearance this afternoon as she and her husband Scott Mitchell, 56, took an open letter to Downing Street. The letter, which has been signed by over 100,000 people, calls on Prime Minister Boris Johnson, 55, to invest immediately in an NHS Dementia Fund during Wednesday’s Spending Review. In the petition, Barbara, who is living with Alzheimer’s, calls for the government to reform the UK’s failing social care system.
