Barcelona director snubs Premier League move to stay despite club announcing his departure
Aston Villa’s summer plans have suffered a blow with director of football target Mateu Alemany set to stay at Barcelona.
The statement read: “Despite having a contract until 2024, Mateu Alemany has informed the FC Barcelona president, Joan Laporta, of his intention to begin a new professional project.”
