Ellie Page says the seller told staff she didn't want the money from the jewel or anything to do with the man who gave it to her.
Bargain hunters often visit charity shops in the hope of seeking out rare finds or expensive goods for a fraction of their original price. However, one lucky woman bagged the deal of a lifetime after she dug out a woman's engagement ring for the shocking price of just £1, the Mirror reports.
In a clip which has now racked in a humongous 2.9 million views, the thrift shopper explained she's unaware of the jewellery's true worth. Ellie said: "POV - you have a crazy feeling that you need to go into your favourite charity shop on the way as you think you're going to find something amazing. "The store assistant is like, 'Oh my god, are you sure?' The woman goes, 'I want you to put it in the charity shop and list it for £1 - I want you to sell this for £1 and whoever buys it, it's their lucky day'.
"You can't get it valued because it's Bank Holiday, so you have no idea how much this ring is that you own right now. It's a big fat mystery whether you're right or not - but for the meantime, you have a really pretty ring! What a day!"
