Househunters and property investors could get their hands on a bargain as two neighbouring Nottinghamshire properties are set for auction with a guide price of £25,000 each. The terraced homes on Sherwood Street, Kirkby In Ashfield will be three of 208 lots that are appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction, which will take place on Thursday, May 16, at 8:30am.
The first property, 42 Sherwood Street, is a three-bedroom end-terraced home in need of some modernisation but the £25,000 guide price reflects this. The property stands flush to the pavement, with off-road car parking and a garden to the rear. Downstairs there is a kitchen and reception room, whereas upstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. Also on Sherwood Stree, number 40 has the same layout and an annual rental income of £6,000.Meanwhile, also going up for auction is number 38, which again has the same layout, guide price and a rental income of £5,400. Not too far away, there is also a three-bedroomed semi-deteatched house listed on Princess Street with a guide price of £25,000.
At this property, there is a reception room, kitchen and a wet room with WC downstairs, with the three bedrooms upstairs. These listings are great for a first time buyer looking to get on the housing ladder and find a place to make their own, but they are also a good option for investors wanting to create a rental.
