Barlinnie inmate Paul Etherington, 48, has been added to the sex offenders register for the contents of his unsolicited letter sent to a friend without his consent.
An inmate sent a romantic interest a sexually explicit letter containing the story of an evil Santa and his sidekick.
The lengthy letter included the sexual exploits of an evil Santa named 'Twiglet' and his sidekick called 'S***face'. There was also a drawing of Tinkerbell from Peter Pan and the mail was signed off by 'Angelica'.READ MORE: Baby deer mauled to death by 'out of control' dog in horror golf club attack The court heard that Etherington knew the man from 2017 when the victim was aged 16. The pair later lived with the boy's father before they moved in together.Prosecutor Redmond Harris told the court that Etherington sent the man a letter while behind bars. He said: "The letter contained handwritten graphic sexually explicit content and fantasies.
The fiscal depute added that there were mentions of watching "screaming victims" and spit landing in mouths.Mr Harris stated: "The letter was signed off with the name Angelica. The letter also contained child like drawings and a coloured drawing of Tinkerbell."James Arrol, defending, told the court that the pair remain "friends." The lawyer said: "Etherington did the letter from romantic or sexual feelings for the man.
