The victim was left feeling 'shaken', and required hospital treatment for his injuries
The attack took place at the Southport Coaster pub on Lord Street at around 11.30pm on Friday, April 12. Two men and a woman came into the pub and an argument broke out between them, leading to the woman being thrown out by bar staff due to being "aggressive".
Inspector Edward Barr said: “This was a dangerous and reckless attack that has left the victim shaken and he required hospital treatment for his injuries.
