LABOUR frontbencher Barry Gardiner was confronted over warning a post-Brexit trade deal with the United States could result in food being contaminated with insects.
Mr Robinson said:"So if we took you over to America for a week or two, you’d find rat droppings in the cinema popcorn, would you, Mr Gardiner?which is designed to give you a cover for voting against a Brexit deal again?"United States"Could you not back a Brexit deal and yet still say, ‘we won’t have a trade deal on these sorts of terms? We insist on retaining our high environmental and food standards'.
