Basketball coach ‘”swooped in” and molested two schoolgirls at “sleepovers”‘
Hollander’s lawsuit alleges the abuse began in December 2008, after the girls had graduated and returned to help Labus coach the girls basketball team.The lawsuit also accuses the school district’s then-superintendent, Dennis Soustek, of failing to report the abuse to police.Instead of going to authorities, Soustek allegedly called Labus and told her to stop, but the abuse continued for three more years, the lawsuit claims.
‘It’s alarming because here you have the head of the school district, who is a trained, mandated reporter who never made a complaint,’ he continued.
