Bastrop City Council members voted July 9 on a new name: the Bridging Bastrop Board.
BASTROP, Texas — Diversity, Equity and Inclusion organizations have been a popular topic of discussion across Texas in recent months.
The decision was made to protect the board from possible legal implications, such as the removal of the program altogether, which has happened at some public universities across the state.
