A new Batman: Caped Crusader poster is out, teasing many of the villains that the hero will face off against in the upcoming series.
The latest Batman: Caped Crusader poster offers up a stylized look at Batman exploring a scene with a flashlight in hand. Illuminated on the sides of him, however, are a variety of villains from his expansive rogues gallery. These include characters like Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Penguin, Two Face, and more.
The animated series is set to premiere on August 1, 2024, when all 10 episodes of the series will be released on Prime Video.“It is an all-new animated series and reimagining of the Batman mythology,” reads the logline. “Utilizing state-of-the-art animation techniques, this powerful creative partnership will once again reinvent the character and his iconic rogue’s gallery with sophisticated storytelling, nuanced characters, and intense action sequences, all set in a visually striking world.
Batman: Caped Crusader hails from executive producers Bruce Timm , J.J. Abrams , and Matt Reeves . Originally developed for Max,ultimately picked up the series for a two-season order last March 2023. Based on characters from DC, Batman: Caped Crusader is produced by Warner Bros.
