Prime Video has finally set the release date for Warner Bros. Animation's long-awaited DC series Batman: Caped Crusader.
, over three years since it was first announced. The new animated show is scheduled to make its debut on Thursday, August 1 with all ten episodes dropping all at once.
In addition to its date announcement, the streamer also shared the first-look images from Batman: Caped Crusader, providing fans with a glimpse of the titular hero, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Commissioner Gordon, and Clayface.“It is an all-new animated series and reimagining of the Batman mythology,” reads the logline.
Batman: Caped Crusader hails from executive producers Bruce Timm , J.J. Abrams , and Matt Reeves . Originally developed for Max,ultimately picked up the series for a two-season order last March 2023. Based on characters from DC, Batman: Caped Crusader is produced by Warner Bros. Animation, Bad Robot Productions, and 6th & Idaho, with Ed Brubaker and Sam Register executive producing.Maggie Dela Paz has been writing about the movie and TV industry for more than four years now.
