In the story "Batman: Mother's Day Part 2" by Karl Kerschl and Norm Rapmund from Batman: The Brave and the Bold #11, Batman is investigating a Man-Bat attack when he comes to suspect someone from Gotham Academy. Since Bruce can't hang around high school himself all day, he enlists fellow student and mega-Batman fan, Maps Mizoguchi.
Related Batman and Robin's Entire Relationship Has Been Redefined by Their New Mission The relationship between Batman and Damian Wayne's Robin continues to evolve, as their latest mission brings them closer together as father and son. Batman Admits He Considers Maps To Be Robin With this level of devotion, the only thing that's really stopped Maps from being an official Robin was both lack of training and lack of opportunity.
While Maps eagerly and happily calls herself Robin, Batman has avoided doing so. But after Batman is poisoned and delirious, he mumbles to himself that he has to get to "Robin." It's here that he insists a taxi bring him to Gotham Academy, where Maps lives. This is important because this story takes place during a time when Batman had plenty of Robins. Damian is around, as is Tim Drake.
