What we have now is a gaggle of numpties making bad call after bad call, cross-correcting, then still getting it wrong. An infrastructure in which the left hand doesn't even seem to know the right hand exists, and technology so poor that one app has simply been abandoned and its replacement recently told me to travel about 600 miles to Inverness to my “nearest” coronavirus test centre.
