Bayer Leverkusen chief executive Fernando Carro has admitted that Xabi Alonso could end up managing Real Madrid amid links with Liverpool.
Carro has spoken about Alonso's future, where he has also been linked with managing Real Madrid at some point in the future. The Leverkusen CEO has admitted that he believes Alonso will take charge at the Santiago Bernabeu at some point in his career. "There are many interested clubs, it is true, which does not mean that in the future he cannot coach some of those that have been named, especially his former teams as a player," said Carro. "But he feels at ease here; if not, he wouldn't continue.
