Bayern Munich set to make new and improved bid for Tottenham's Harry Kane
"There's no question he'd be a huge upgrade for Bayern, he would make an instant impact. But when you look at the fee, the wages, there's a lot of dispute in Germany [because] Bayern have spent over €40m on a player three times in their history.
"It would remove a lot of the uncertainty that was at Bayern because one of the issues with Robert Lewandowski going wasn't so much the goals, but it created an imbalance in the dressing room. "Now they've gone in for him, and gone in for him quite hard, they'll look a bit stupid if they don't get him. I think that's really, really important," Brassell continued.
