Antiques Roadshow expert Hilary Kay was left stumped as she was unable to valuate an item which was believed to be from the Titanic after issuing a warning to the guest.

An Antiques Roadshow expert refused to assess a historical item that a guest had "found in his garage".

As usual, members of the public were eager to have their treasures evaluated by experts. However, things took an uncomfortable turn when specialist Hilary Kay refused to value one particular item, the Express reports. The guest explained to Hilary that he discovered the item in the corner of a garage after purchasing a new house. As Hilary provided information about Titanic Lifeboat no. 3, she mentioned that although it could accommodate 65 people, only around 36 to 38 were believed to have been onboard.
