BBC Antiques Roadshow viewers were left fuming after spotting an expert folding a page in a rare scrapbook that was valued at around £200.
In a BBC Antiques Roadshow rerun set against the stunning backdrop of Salisbury Cathedral, viewers were captivated when a guest showcased a peculiar scrapbook for valuation.
Inferring that it may have been sent around 1890, she guessed her great-great uncle must have been 19 when he crafted it, but sadly, he died just two years later. As the antique expert examined the pages, sharp-eyed viewers noted a possibly damaging incident when one of the protective sheets of paper seemed to accidentally fold back.
