Clare Balding is set to host this year's Trooping the Colour for the BBC, bringing viewers all the updates from the royal spectacle, minute by minute.
Back in 2013, the BBC was forced to apologise after broadcasting a Radio 5 Live satirical panel debate about "curing" Clare Balding of being a lesbian. During the challenge, Bob described Clare as a "horse woman" who "appreciates power between her thighs", before adding: "And we all know, there is no woman that can't be cured," which was met by jeers from the crowd.
Clare and her wife Alice "officially" tied the knot in 2006 during a quiet ceremony. Nine years later, the loved-up pair even decided to return to the register office which held their civil partnership.
