The plane, which had 175 passengers and six staff onboard, collided with a wall and erupted in flames resulting in all but two people on board dying. The latest accident unfolded upon landing, with preliminary indications suggesting that the aircraft's landing gear had failed. Video showed the aircraft precariously sliding along the runway without its wheels making contact, reports the Express.
The belief is that the aircraft encountered issues deploying its landing gear, compelling the pilots to abandon the initial approach and make a second attempt for a belly landing.
