BBC Breakfast's routine schedule was interrupted on Wednesday as co-host Jon Kay announced a significant update regarding the Royal family. "It's coming up to quarter past seven, Wednesday morning and Wednesday evening in the Pacific. King Charles and Queen Camilla have just arrived on the island nation of Samoa, where they are attending a Summit for the 56 Nation Commonwealth; there we go," an enthusiastic Jon reported.
"They said they were looking forward to experiencing the warmth of the country's ancient traditions." Sally introduced their colleague, Katy Watson, who was in Samoa to cover a special segment for BBC Breakfast. "Good morning, Katy," she said warmly.
