BBC Breakfast's resident weather expert, Carol Kirkwood, issued an urgent warning to viewers during her segment this week. On Monday , she provided a meteorological update to presenters Ben Thompson and Sally Nugent.
She further predicted heavy rain at times throughout the week, unseasonably strong winds, even gales, but also some warm sunshine. Carol admitted the weather will be "unsettled", a sentiment echoed by Ben who confessed he was feeling "unsettled" about the sudden transition from summer to autumn, reports the Express.
Another person commented on the seasonal shift: "Feeling autumnal. Oh no! " and a different fan pleaded with the weather presenter: "Carol, tell the clouds to go away!"
