BBC savaged over withdrawal of free over-75 TV licences – ‘A dog’s breakfast!’
The end of free TV licences for over-75s had been due to come into effect on June 1, but this was pushed back to August 1 due to the coronavirus epidemic.However the BBC’s handling of the move has been sharply criticised by a number of MPs.
