A doctor has warned BBC viewers not to ignore a 'very common problem' people often get in their elbow. Speaking on BBC Morning Live, Dr Punam Krishan said so-called tennis elbow is a condition many think is sports-related.

It arose as Dr Krishan - an NHS GP, writer and TV presenter - took questions from members of the public about their personal health issues, helping people with their concerns. "It causes pain and a burning sensation and it happens on the outer, bony part of your elbow. The pain can usually transfer down the forearm as well and there's reasons for why that happens.
