During his appearance on This Morning, Si revealed that he and Dave were working on a project prior to his death
Hairy Bikers star Si King shared an emotional update on his final project with Dave Myers. The TV chef died in February, less than two years after revealing his cancer diagnosis in May 2022. Best friend Si shared the heartbreaking news of Dave's death in a message on social media. He confirmed that he, Dave's wife Liliana Orzac, family, and a close friend were all by his side when he died on February 28 at the age of 66.
Si said: “This one was slightly different because it’s the recipes that stuck with us - to put in context we roughly did 650,000 miles of travelling over 22 years in the saddle of a motorcycle. So, this book is about all the recipes that stuck with us because when those recipes stay with you it becomes really nostalgic and it triggered conversations and memories that we’d had, it was lovely.
