The former BBC News at Six presenter died on July 24 last year
He sadly passed away on 24 July last year at the age of 67, following a ten-year battle with bowel cancer. The will of the former News at Six presenter revealed that he had £49,387 to his name at the time of his passing.

George also listed his four sisters and sister-in-law as trustees, each to receive an equal share of his estate, reports the Mirror.
"My trustees may use the income or capital of my estate for or towards the cost of maintaining or improving freehold or leasehold property forming part of my estate. My trustees shall have the power in exercising the statutory power of appointing new trustees to appoint a professional person or trust corporation at such remuneration and on such other terms as shall be agreed."
