BBC presenter left mortified after accidentally interviewing Eurovision fan instead of ‘huge star’

After speaking to Eurovision fans who watched the show live at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena, Katie revealed she’d managed to “catch up with” musical act Käärijä, who is representing Finland. The competing song is called, Cha Cha Cha, and the individual interviewed began by dancing and singing some of the lines.He replied enthusiastically with: “Incredible. In comparison with the countries that I've been [to] this is better organised, everything is walking distance and it's so friendly. Everything is just so easy around here, it's incredible."
