“It’s great to have the BBC Radio 6 Music Festival back in Greater Manchester'
BBC Radio 6 Music Festival 2025 will be returning to Manchester with a jam-packed line-up of exciting and emerging acts across four days.
The artists confirmed today to be taking part in this year’s shows, which will once again be held at O2 Victoria Warehouse Manchester, will include Mercury Music Prize 2024 winners English Teacher and Mercury Music Prize 2023 winners Ezra Collective, who have promised a ‘special bespoke performance’ celebrating the importance of youth clubs.
Scottish post-rock band Mogwai will also deliver a unique headline collaboration with KNDS Fairey Acid Brass whilst Kae Tempest will be marking the global premiere of new material at the festival. Also joining the line-up is Perfume Genius and Fat Dog, whilst 6 Music’s Jamz Supernova, Tom Ravenscroft and SHERELLE will all be DJing at Victoria Warehouse throughout the festival too.
From Saturday March 29, the iPlayer channel will see the station’s presenters bring viewers back-to-back performance highlights and live sets from this year’s event. Lauren, who will also begin a new stint at 6 Music with a mid-morning show on the same day as Nick, said: “I’m thrilled to be back in plenty of time for our biggest moment of the year – the 6 Music Festival. The artists always put together something special just for us and the listeners, which is such a privilege.
