The BBC Radio 1 DJ was out cycling with Jeremy Vine recently when he had the close call. In a moment captured on camera, the 38-year-old presenter was forced to frantically start hitting the vehicle as it threatened to hit him.
‘You did nothing wrong there, but you will be blamed for that,’ he said. ‘When that happened to me, someone backed into me, I was told I was hovering near the back of the van.’ A van nearly reversed into him, with the incident captured on camera by Jeremy Vine The pair later go past the van again, this time at a set of traffic lights. ‘He’s moderately panicking,’ Jeremy said of the driver, before spotting another van ‘going the wrong way down the street’ towards them.
