Ex-footballer Jermaine Jenas has been sacked from presenting The One Show. The former Premier League player, 41, has been removed from the BBC One evening programme following an internal investigation by the corporation because of alleged complaints about his behaviour, The Sun has reported.
After retiring from the game, he turned to punditry and then presenting. He has appeared on Match of the Day, as well as BT Sport, which is now known as TNT Sports. He became a co-presenter on The One Show in 2020 as he diversified from sports programmes. The father-of-four joined The One Show in 2020 as a stand-in co-host following the departure of Matt Baker and he was made a permanent fixture the following year. His agency MC Saatchi also no longer represents him, the Press Association has reported.
