He suffered a brain aneurysm while jogging.
Pall bearers carry the casket at the funeral of TV presenter and journalist Nick Sheridan BBC Scotland presenter Nick Sheridan has been remembered as a ‘talented and generous soul’ during his funeral. Last week it was announced that the broadcaster had died aged 32. Soon after Sheridan was remembered as ‘hugely talented’ in a heartfelt tribute from BBC Scotland’s head of news and current affairs, Gary Smith.
‘He was as much at home in the kitchen arguing over political correctness with dad as he was grilling an unfortunate guest on the couch of Seven Days or the Nine.’ His brother then said Sheridan’s ‘greatest gifts’ were singing and music, with his talent ‘shining through’. Although he said the family had ‘lost its guiding star’, they’d been grateful to have spent 32 years with him.
