Just awful
A BBC show has received numerous complaints after it showed what appeared to be a bird being beaten with a stick. The controversial episode of BBC Springwatch aired earlier this week and left many fans in "tears" after a bird was "battered to death with a stick" in horrific scenes.
One viewer asked: "It was so hard to watch. Why did that evil little man get a suspended sentence when you had the vile little stain bang to rights?"A second commented: "Awful, awful the suffering and pain I couldn’t watch." Another wrote: "The footage is just horrific. A fourth added: "Springwatch. I've literally just watched a man trap and beat a buzzard to death with a stick." Whilst another viewer stated: "Springwatch are showing the amount of them being killed. Someone just battered a buzzard to death."
