Farmers Country Show Down star Fred Collins suffers life-changing injuries in tractor accident
Star of BBC’s Farmers Country Show Down Fred Collins has been in an horrific farming accident that has left him with life-changing injuries.He was changing a tyre on his tractor when the jack came away and his arm was trapped under the huge machinery for some time.Following the accident, a friend of the star, Julie Giles, has set up a Go Fund Me page to raise money to help him after the horrifying incident.
The page was set up earlier this week and has already seen donations reaching a total of £3,224 of its £5,000 goal. She continued: “Sadly while changing the tyre on his tractor the jack failed and His arm was trapped for a considerable time. At the moment we don’t fully know the extent of the long lasting damage. But he has been told he may only have 20% of his arm fully functioning.”
“We all wish you a speedy recover, and by looking at all the well wishes on social media it shows how much Fred and his family are thought of by everyone.As fans donated they shared their good wishes to Fred.
