BBC star shares shock brain tumour diagnosis after horrific bike crash BBC
The 47 year old only found out about the tumour after he was rushed to hospital following a horrific bicycle crash which saw him left with ten broken ribs and a bloodied and bruised face.
He insisted he is as “optimistic as it is possible to be” ahead of having surgery on Thursday, adding the operation is the “only way to find out exactly what type and grade the tumour is and to decide on further treatment”. “I am as optimistic as it is possible to be and I have already started researching charities to support with some fundraising.”
“Everyone at BBC Scotland is thinking of Glenn and is looking forward to seeing him recover and return to reporting duties.”
