Viewers are thrilled the Scouse comedian has made it to the quarter final
Strictly Come Dancing fans were relieved as Chris McCausland's journey continued. The Liverpool comedian is the show's first ever blind contestant and has won over the hearts of fans with his inspiring performances. The 47-year-old is partnered with Dianne Buswell and the two danced a Paso Doble on Week 10 of the show. Although they finished second bottom on the leaderboard, the public kept them in the competition and Chris will progress to Musical's Week.
' Chris reflected on his unexpected success with fellow quarter finalist Pete Wicks as they both shared their disbelief at how well they had performed. He added: 'We can't believe we're near anything with the word final in.' Chris is set to perform a routine in Musical Week as he arrives in the quarter final. However, the comedian joked he wasn't so keen on the genre as he said: 'I think they're absolutely pointless.
