Giovanni Pernice and Anton Du Beke had crowds in giggles during while performing in Liverpool this week.
Strictly Come Dancing 's Giovanni Pernice was put on pause after a shout from the crowd while on stage in Liverpool.
Balancing the show to suit each city on the tour could be challenging, but these two toe-tapping gents did top-notch work bringing a Liverpool flavour to it. Giovanni had a laugh claiming the borough of Wirral, rather than his native Sicily, stating the 33 year-old could even speak the "lingo". Giovanni, not familiar with the term, elicited a puzzled reaction from Anton. The judge played along with the misunderstanding, jesting: "You don't know what a lock in is. You come from these parts and you don't know what a lock in is. I'm stunned. Everyone knows what a lock in is."
He continued: "We've got a show tomorrow in Birmingham. This is going to be an Evening with Anton Du Beke. Because Giovanni Pernice is still locked in." To which Giovanni replied: "In that case, you can finish the whole tour on your own because I'm happy."
