The TV presenter has two daughters with husband Vernon Kay
BBC's Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly has wowed fans by posting a selection of celebrating her eldest daughter's 18th birthday. Tess, 53, shared rare pictures of birthday girl Phoebe as she marked her special day.
The TV presenter has two daughters with husband Radio 2 presenter Vernon Kay - Phoebe and younger sister Amber. Reaching the milestone birthday, Tess posted a series of pictures of Phoebe over the years, and wrote: "Where did the time go? Our little Phoebe is 18 today! wishing you the happiest birthday!"
The pictures spanned the years. The first showed Phoebe holding a small white dog, the next with next was a snap of parents Tess and Vernon holding the newborn, another showed the couple at an event with Phoebe in a pretty party dress and the final image was more recent. The teenager was dressed in a red dress - perhaps on holiday and ready for an evening out.Tess added to the caption: "We are so proud of you and can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you.
Strictly star Gorka Marquez exclaimed: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!", while Tess' co-host on the show, Claudia Winkelman, cheered: "Happy happy happy birthday Phoebe." Another Strictly pro dancer added their voice to the celebrations. Dianne Buswell posted a stream of love heart eye emojis. Amy Dowden told her: "Happy birthday Phoebe xxxxx".
Instagram Nottinghamshire Live sister publication, Manchester Evening News, noted that fans had also spotted the 'mother daughter' resemblance. Fans told Tess: "Wow so like you @tessdaly happy birthday Phoebe." Another said: "My goodness the expression ‘two peas in a pod’ comes to mind! Happy Birthday." And a third added: "Wow Tess she is your double.
