The Omagh Hum is set to air on Monday, August 19
The BBC is set to air a new film on a 'mysterious noise' which is claimed "to be causing sleepless nights for residents" in a Co Tyrone town.
"Finding some people in the town in a state of exhaustion, local journalist Emmet McElhatton is determined to get to the bottom of this mystery and teams up with Jamie Ryan, a repairman from the town whose personal fascination with sound has inspired him to launch his own private investigation. "This film looks at life in a small town and features contributions from a range of local people, revealing how some stories capture the imagination and take on a life on their own."
