BBC WEATHER’s Carol Kirkwood has warned of vicious wintry conditions as temperatures have dropped below freezing to -2C in the north of England and Scotland.
Weather said the week will start off cold and turn much wetter by Friday. There are two yellow weather warnings for ice in the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Injuries or accidents are more likely as there will be icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.Speaking on BBC Breakfast, Mr Kirkwood said: “The week ahead’s weather, we’re looking at a chilly start today.
