EXCLUSIVE: Princess Beatrice is said to be upset over the focus on her involvement in her father's infamous Newsnight interview - and is reportedly dreading the release of a second series
Princess Beatrice has found herself plunged into the drama surrounding her father, Prince Andrew , following the release of Netflix’s Scoop.
A Very Royal Scandal is an upcoming three-part television series set to be released on Amazon Prime later this year. The drama will include Emily Maitlis as executive producer and Ruth Wilson will star as her. Michael Sheen will play Prince Andrew and the drama will be directed by Julian Jarrold. OK! revealed late last year that Beatrice, who is not a working royal, would step up to represent the royal family at public events to help support a struggling “slimmed down” monarchy.
"Bea was very much focused on her charitable work and was looking forward to contributing more. This is the last thing she needed,” the source said. “Charles and William were starting to see her as a pivotal part of plugging the gap within the family, but she feels like that’s all been ruined now.”
