Special tributes to these loved ones, RIP
Tributes have been left this week to remember loved ones in Rossendale who have recently passed away.
Mostly she leaves a whole host of friends who she focused on throughout her life, collecting them where ever she went. In particular, Zoe, Coral, Clare, Helen, Tony. She attended St Mary’s Primary School and Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School. John Ogley John Ogley, of Cherry Crescent, Rawtenstall, passed away at Haslingden Hall on March 16, aged 92 years.
Phyllis worked at Whitworth Cotton Mill, later working as a cleaner until she retired. Phyllis loved dancing, going to bingo with her sister Ann. She also enjoyed knitting and doing jigsaws. Sallie Smith Sallie Smith, of St Mary’s Place, Rawtenstall, passed away on March 23, at home aged 82 years. Sallie leaves her partner of 55 years Adrian, daughter Michelle, son-in-law Mike, three grandchildren Levi, Courtney and Liam, nephews and nieces and four great-great grandchildren Ella, Hollie, Minnie and Jack.
