Published: Aug. 08, 2024, 10:50 p.m.MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — Police say an officer shot an armed suspect Thursday afternoon following a high-speed chase of a vehicle that had been reported stolen.
According to a news release from Bedford police, an officer attempted to stop the vehicle at about 3 p.m. The vehicle sped north on Broadway Avenue into Maple Heights and was driving “aggressively,” hitting at least one other vehicle during the pursuit.
