When Bedrock designed their Cairn line of adventure sandals, it was a big step forward in performance compared to the original, early editions. After tens of thousands of miles of trekking, rafting, and riding in Cairns, their flagship sandal is getting a proper upgrade for Spring/Summer 2024.From the bottom up, the Cairn EVO and EVO PRO sandals are more durable and grippy than ever. The new Cairn Evo line gets its grippy traction boost from Vibram’s new XS TREK EVO compound. This new sole will give you more stability on loose rock, water, and even snow.Bedrock’s patented sole-hugger wings now feature a stitch box that buries threads and keeps them from abrasion. The toe-triangle on the 3D models has been “mellowed out” bringing the user more comfort. They’ve also redrawn the top down profile of the OG Cairn, adjusting the toe swing to help accommodate a wider range of feet. The new Cairn Evos now match the US-standard sizing for a familiar and predictable fit.After a ton of customer requests, a new edition to the Cairn line was brought into the line-up, the new Cairn Evo C. This new edition has kicked up the cushion level a few notches with a new thicker, padded footbed. Perfect for lake lounging, long jogs, or the all-day city stroll, these new softer-soled Cairns still have the same rugged DNA as the Cairns with the standard footbed.
